Ofcom has received more than 100 complaints from Gogglebox viewers after a woman and a duck were shown performing a sex act during Friday’s episode.

The show’s regulars could not believe their eyes as the scene from Apple+ TV show Roar flicked up on screen.

And viewers were quick to contact the broadcasting regulatory body, with Ofcom confirming to MailOnline that 149 official complaints had been made after viewers watched the duck seduce the woman.

MailOnline has contacted Channel 4 for comment.

A puzzled Giles Wood turned to her partner Mary and declared: ‘The duck can’t physically…’

Viewers watched part of Apple’s series feminist series Roar which is based on Cecelia Ahern’s collection of short stories, with the Googlebox stars viewing the scene from The Woman Who Was Fed By a Duck.

Taking to Twitter to voice their shock during the show, one viewer wrote: ‘Well whatever that was with the duck was genuinely disturbing.’

Another viewer posted: ‘I’ve still not recovered from #Gogglebox tonight. Please tell me I imagined the thing with the duck?’

Commenting on the snap shared by his stunning niece, he said: ‘Looking good guys great to see you all yesterday with @juliejohnson31 @cunny246 to celebrate Jack and @emma_louuise_ wedding.

‘You all look stunning but didn’t look like that at end of the night!’

Sophie replied: ‘Such a lovely day! See you all again soon, lots of love to you and auntie sue xx’
